RichPresence+ shows your game live on your Discord profile. To do that, the app captures your game window and sends a preview of it. Nothing else on your screen, ever.
What the app captures
While you play, RichPresence+ takes a preview of the focused game window, at regular intervals. It never captures your desktop, your other windows, your messages, or anything outside the game.
Eco mode, on by default, lowers how often it captures and how much bandwidth it uses.
What is sent, and where
- The game preview is sent to our image server (hosted by Dryaides). An automated explicit-content (NSFW) filter checks it before anything goes online; an image judged explicit is blocked.
- The image link and activity text (game, details line, state line) are passed to Discord through Rich Presence, which shows them on your profile. Who sees them depends on your Discord settings.
Images are kept only as long as needed to display them, then purged regularly. We do not sell or share your captures with third parties.
Discord
Display goes through your Discord client. What Discord does with this information is covered by Discord's privacy policy. RichPresence+ is not affiliated with Discord.
The Minecraft mod
The mod talks to your Discord client locally and sends your in-game activity (server, context) to display it. It has no account and asks you for no personal information.
Accounts
You can use RichPresence+ as a guest, with no account. A free account and a premium option exist for more features; those use an email address as an identifier. That is the only personal data we keep, and only if you create an account.
What we do not do
- No ad tracking, no data resale.
- No access to microphone, webcam, files or location.
- No capture outside the game window.
Deleting your data
Close the app or remove the mod: nothing more is captured or sent. To delete an account and its email, write to us. Captures already purged from the server cannot be recovered, by design.
Beta
RichPresence+ is in beta. This page will evolve with the app; any change that broadens collection will be noted here with its date.
